havent been here in a while.. i've had thoughts of posting my thoughts alot.. but just got too lazy.. so i'll make more of an effort now.. because i realize it's fun to look back and read about what you've been through.. over the years.

saturday morning the crew went bike riding at the beach!! i was so freakin sore the whole day saturday. when it hurts, you know you worked it good. no pain no gain.
do u ever crave anything?? ever since we went bike riding near the pier, i've been craving crab legs. i love crab legs!!! shrimp sounds good too. i want seafood, but i'm trying hard to not eat out as much. crab crab crab. what do you crave? and how do you get over your cravings without actually going through with them?! HELP!

GOOOO RED SOX!! i am a huge red sox fan & i'll prove it to you later. really.
another week at work is done! yay! i seem to enjoy my commute now that i have more music to listen to! haha. i used to hate traffic, but now i just keep listening to a bunch of island music.. and get my groove on while driving by myself to work. how pretty.
lately i've been eating out for dinner alot. dinner = spending money! but it's okay, cuz i get to spend some time with friends, and u can't go wrong with that. let's see.. last week i had dinner with Richard at Maya's in santa monica, and this week i had dinner with Cat at PF chang's after kickin it at Barnes & Nobles, with Elise @ National's Sports Bar & Grill to watch the game, and with karen, kev & anton at C&O's cuz they came out to the santa monica area after work. maybe i shouldnt eat out for a while. haha, yeah rite.
anyway, last night, i went home to watch the end of the game. i was bummed cuz i wanted the astros beat the cardinals. oh well. then, i fell asleep at 8:30. i was gonna go out to D&B's, but i couldnt get myself outta bed. therefore, i slept for almost 12 hours! haha!! i woke up at 7:00am to get to work! i thought i was late, but traffic wasn't that bad. i got here in about 45 minutes. exciting. well, i gotta plan out my weekend. what should i do?

i HATE traffic, especially when my traffic time is DOUBLED going to work.
but, i'm thankful i have a job.
i HATE when the only thing people do is find something to COMPLAIN about.
but, i enjoy helping them look at the brighter side of things. well at least i TRY to.

i'm back! and i'm tired. it's been a crazy 5 day trip out there in hawaii. we exhausted ourselves out, considering we did activities in 4 days that wouldve lasted for about a week or 10 days for the "average" visitor/tourist to hawaii. not kidding yo. from parasailing to hiking to jetskiing, shopping, going to a luau & sightseeing.. we practically almost did it all!
our vacation was cut short however. its okay though.. cuz things do happen for a reason. the day after we arrived in hawaii, kevin got a phone call with the tragic news of his uncle's sudden death. i felt so bad. we all wanted to be there for kevin.. and we all didnt know how. we prayed for him, his uncle, and for his family back home who had to deal with everything. it was awkward.. cuz we didnt know what to do. we figured, if kevin wanted to go home right away, then that's just what he needed to do. he decided that he was going to go home on sunday night with karen & anton. it was really comforting to go to a local catholic church and pray one day. i really enjoyed it, and i'm sure kevin felt good too.
anyway, the 3 of us (mark, jenn, and i) left honolulu on monday night, instead of sticking to our original plan of coming home tonight. and arrived on tues morning. later that day, i went to kevin's uncle's viewing at the mortuary and then attended his funeral today. rip, tito henry.
as for exciting highlights of our hawaiian vacation.. umm... that'll come later. i have to write them out first. muahahahha. i'm a little darker, chubbier, and brazier.

work is getting better, thank goodness. i think i've finally adjusted to this whole "working full time" stuff. haha, i've never appreciated the weekends so much in my life. yeow!! anyway, there are always things that happen in my day that i want to write about.. and then what happens.. i forget about it! what the heck. i'll try better next time. anyway, i went to vegas again with my mom & catherine to visit my sister and her family. its always so entertaining at their house. the weekend was lovely. fun times. i also got to hang out with some fun friends i havent seen all summa long. yay! after work on monday, i picked up christine, cathy, chiara, cheryl and justin on campus and went to eat at their favorite.. sushi mac! haha. when we got there, those folks were too cool to sit by me & christine.. and sat across the room from us instead. what haters! haha. nonetheless, good food, good times, good stuff.
im working only half day today. wanna know why? wouldnt u wanna know.
okay fine, i'll spill it. i'm off to the hawaiian islands with mah friends to visit mah famileeeeeeee! it's also kinda like a "graduation" trip cuz we all kinda just graduated from college. kinda interesting. kinda boring. kinda like it. kinda.
i love las vegas. i love hawaii. i love my family. i love my friends. i love my bf. i love God. i love blessings. i love life. i love you.

things i've been upto lately:
-the weekend was filled with lotsa different emotions. i went to heidi's viewing on friday night. thanks karen, for accompanying me to west co! on saturday was heidi's funeral. thanks to kevin, for coming with me that day. it was a hard.... morning. i'm glad that i got to meet her entire family that day, and share with them the relationship that i had with her. i also learned more about heidi from her family too. nice, beautiful family :).
-saturday evening was my niece's 1st bday party. cant believe she's already one! too cute.
-sunday was a rare "family day." since my sister was in town from vegas, we went to have brunch at a restaurant in san pedro. we couldnt think of a place to eat, and so i looked in my nifty "hungry LA" book and found a cool restaurant to try. the place was good, but not that cheap. nonetheless, it was a wonderful family outing (everyone except dad)... and unfortunately, these outings hardly ever happen.
-later on, i went with kevin to his cousin's baby shower. more good food. u can't go wrong with that!
-as for the rest of the week.. hmm let's see..
-monday i had appts at the student health center at ucla. since my student health insurance expired that day, i made all my last appts that morning. haha. then i came to work late. after work, ms. moina came to meet me at 3rd street to have dinner b/c she's going back to riverside for school. oh, school. i wanna go back already!!
-tuesday i worked 830-5, then went to cat's, and i finally got to see my ex-mentee Christine, aka Stockton, after an entire summer!! we had dinner at 3rd street again. PF chang's. yum!
-wednesday claude invited me to watch a free screening of katie holmes "first daughter". cat came with me too. i thought it was a cute movie. i was too lazy to drive home, so i slept over at cat's again.
-thursday, i went to work as usual. then afterwards, i decided to go out and eat dinner. i ALWAYS eat out for dinna. i'm supposed to save money, but i was craving a bunch of stuff: italian food, hooters wings, peruvian food, teriyaki chicken, etc. haha, so i called karen. she seems to crave the same things as i do, so i gave her a call. after calling some folks, it ended up being me, karen, anthony, and kevin eating at HOOTERs! good food, good times, good grief. jk.
today is friday. thank goodness. i love it. as for me, i'm still at work.. killing some time on the internet and chattin it up with my coworker Billy, while traffic dies down. today cat's going home with me and we're gonna hang out with mariefe too. we havent seen her in a while! dont know what exactly we're doing.. dinner.. movie?? then 2mrw, i'm off to vegas again with cat & mi papa & mama! we're off to see my sista and her family again. i love family times. i love friend times. i love good times.

to my counselee/friend, HEIDI VISTE, RIP... i know you're chillin up in heaven and havin fun spending an eternity up there! i miss you lots. thank u for everything that you've shared with me throughout the year.. you are beautiful, both inside and out. it was a blessing to have been your counselor during your first year at UCLA, and i am thankful for the chance to have shared alot about ourselves together. and to her family and friends.. i offer u my prayers and condolences. u are loved, and u are missed, heidi!
